Welcome to Astral Lens! This guide will help you set up your astrologer/manager account to start using the app as a complete tool for work, study, and entertainment.
1. Creating Your Profile
The first time you open Astral Lens, you will need to complete your registration. The concept of a “user” in the app refers to the Astrologer Manager – you, who will operate, maintain, and use the system.
2. Information Required for Registration
During registration, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Time and minute of birth
- Official time zone of the birthplace
- City, state, and country of birth
- Latitude and longitude
Privacy Notice: All data provided is used exclusively for the app’s internal calculations, such as astrology and numerology. No information, whether from the user or clients, is shared externally or sent via email. We implement rigorous measures to ensure everyone’s security and privacy.
3. Interface Guidelines
Buttons
For aesthetic and security reasons, the buttons for settings, data insertion, and editing are located at the bottom of the screens. To view them, scroll down.
- Note: On the initial registration screen, scrolling is not required. On screens with more information, it is.
The buttons for generating calculations, reports, and main features are located at the top of the screens.
Text and Data Entry
- Characters: Always use Latin characters (A-Z). This is essential for the correct functioning of numerology calculations and the database system.
- Comma (
,): NEVER use a comma. Many Android versions on mobile devices have compatibility issues with this character in databases. Although most errors have been addressed, using a comma can, in some cases, irreversibly corrupt the database. Always use a period (.) for decimals.
4. Step-by-Step Guide for Accurate Registration
Follow these steps to ensure your astrological data is calculated with maximum precision.
Step 1: Confirm Daylight Saving Time
Check if, on your date of birth, your country was observing daylight saving time or any other energy-saving policy that changed the official time. Many countries moved the clock forward or backward. In Astral Lens, you need to provide the actual local time for precise astronomical calculations.
Step 2: Identify the Official Time Zone
Determine the official time zone of your birthplace. This information is crucial for the Equation of Time, used in calculating the Midheaven (MC).
Step 3: Obtain the Latitude and Longitude
Find the official coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the city where you were born. Always use decimal degrees (e.g., -23.5505, -46.6333). There is a button on the home page that leads to an integrated search tool to help you with this.
Step 4: Complete the Registration
With all the data at hand:
- Click the “Edit” button.
- The fields will become editable, and the cursor will appear in the “Name” field.
- Fill in all the data.
- Click the “Save” button (the label may vary depending on the Astral Lens version).
5. Next Steps After Registration
Done! Your user/manager screen will update. If all data is correct, you can now explore your charts and tools.
- Perform a Backup Immediately!
This is the most important step. Click the “Backup” button to save your data. In case of an error or typo, recovery is simple and automatic. - Explore the Tools:
- Astral Chart: Your personal chart, calculated with the precision of VSOP87 algorithms.
- Tarot: The arcana are determined by the cultural correlation between signs, ascendant, and numerology.
- Numerology: Calculated from your name and date of birth.
- Lunar Calendar: Generated from your date and time of birth, showing the moon phases for a full year.
- Incense: Recommended based on your sun sign and ascendant, listing the most traditional incenses, their functions, and usage recommendations.
After registration, you will have full access to the main menu and all of Astral Lens’s work modules.
